Former New Jersey prosecutor and governor Chris Christie said that President Donald Trump is within his right to seek legal action for the result of the US elections, but must show evidence of his statements, in reference to the lawsuits filed by Trump and his supporters.
For the Republican presidential candidate, illegal votes are those that arrived by mail after November 3, but in 22 of the 50 states it is allowed that, if they arrive postmarked until that date, the votes are accepted for the count.
