After a little more than 36 hours of immobilization on the pontoon of Port Olona to repair a crack at the top of the mast of his Newrest-Art & Fenêtres monohull, Fabrice Amedeo cast off for the second time in the Vendée Globe on Tuesday evening.
The Levallois skipper, who finished 11th four years ago on his first round-the-world trip, is therefore resuming the race, in last place.
As expected, @FabriceAmedeo left the Vendée Globe Pontoon - in music - at 10:15 p.m. under the encouragement of a few spectators.
