A judicial investigation for assassination was to be opened Tuesday, November 10 following the discovery in the Aisne on Saturday of the bodies of a slaughtered woman and a stabbed man, then that of a hanged man, suspected of having killed the other two after a break, said the prosecution.

Judicial information will be opened today (Tuesday) by the Saint-Quentin prosecutor's office at the Laon criminal center on the counts of assassinations and destruction by dangerous means, witness hearings highlighting premeditation
", explained to the 'AFP the public prosecutor in Saint-Quentin, Cédric Logelin.
The autopsy of the man who was found dead on the night of Friday to Saturday in a burnt down apartment in Jussy, near Saint-Quentin, revealed that his death was due to blows from a stabbing weapon.
Nine lesions were observed, of which "
two affected the liver and the heart respectively,
" said Cédric Logelin.
A 47-year-old woman was found with her throat cut near this burning apartment.
A few hours later, a man was discovered hanged in a farmhouse in Mayot, about ten kilometers from Jussy.
An inscription on a wall inside the farm suggested that the latter could be at the origin of the facts, then announced the prosecutor.
"
The message left by the respondent confirms that the act is linked to his romantic relationship with one of the victims,
" Cédric Logelin reaffirmed after three days of investigation.
"
It appears that the man who hanged himself and the victim fatally injured by stabbing in the throat had separated recently,
" he added.
The relations between the deceased woman and the man found in the apartment will have to "
be specified by the hearings to come
", but "
it is nevertheless confirmed that the two men knew each other
".
