The Pfizer vaccine has gone through another phase in the testing process of the US Drug Administration, the organization announced today (Tuesday) at a press conference with the country's media.

According to the organization, the vaccine of the American company, which works in collaboration with the German pharmaceutical company Biontech, has shown that it is effective against severe cases of coronary heart disease in people over 16. The documents released by the US Drug Administration did not raise questions about the product's safety.

The organization has determined that the information provided by Pfizer is in line with the guidelines required to obtain a corona virus confidentiality permit.

The organization has announced that it will announce a final decision on vaccination approval in the near future.

Despite the good news, data passed by the company to the drug director reveals that two people died after receiving the first dose of the vaccine, but it is not specified whether the death has anything to do with the vaccine or coronary heart disease.

It was reported that at least one of the dead had suffered from serious background illnesses.

Madaat, an organization that promotes scientific knowledge in Israel, reports from Pfizer: When examining vaccines on at-risk populations, there may be unfortunate cases - do not infer from the safety of the vaccine but congratulate the transparency required of pharma companies in the drug approval process.

In large trials on tens of thousands of people, especially trials involving at-risk groups, mortality cases that would have occurred without any connection to the trial should be expected, and pharma companies are required to report such cases.

Dr. Uri Lerner, the professional director of the Madat Association: "According to the published data, six of the participants in the experiment died, two of whom received the vaccine and four of the control group.

After an in-depth examination, no connection was found between the experiment and the cause of death. '
