Mexican team reaches ninth place in the FIFA Ranking 0:43

FIFA announced this Thursday its latest ranking of national teams for 2020 in which four Latin American nations, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay and Mexico, were in the top 10.
The Mexican team is among the top 10 in the FIFA Ranking for the first time in 9 years
Belgium came out as the best national team in the world, followed by 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia champion France.
Five-time world champion Brazil came in third place, followed by England in fourth.
Portugal, current champions of the European Championship and the UEFA Nations League, came in fifth place, followed by Spain in sixth.
In seventh place is the two-time world champion, Argentina, while Uruguay, two-time winner of Jules Rimet, was in eighth place.
They are followed by the Mexican team, the one in ninth place.
The top 10 list is closed by the four-time champion Italy, currently directed by Roberto Mancini.
The teams that obtained the most points at the end of the 2020 ranking were the Hungarian team, which rose to position 40 in the world ranking with 44 points, followed by Ecuador, which rose to position 56 with 41 points.
The Maltese team rose to 176th place with 32 points, while Brazil achieved 31 points, to be third in the FIFA 2020 rankings.
