Al-Basel National Hospital in Batelakh expanded the isolation division designated for Corona patients and increased the number of medical staff working in it with the increasing number of patients from suspected cases of the virus, as part of measures to address the virus and face any emergency situations.
Dr. Badi Al-Khader, the director of the hospital, stated in a statement to SANA's correspondent that the hospital increased the number of isolation unit beds to 19 beds in addition to increasing the number of isolation care beds to nine beds, pointing out that a new isolation division is currently being prepared in the hospital, as maintenance work is nearing completion and includes twenty beds .
The hospital director explained that the medical staff working in the isolation and isolation care divisions had been increased, in addition to the training of the first section of the nursing staff, “the Division of Children and Premature Infants, and the Division of Surgery and Surgical Aid” to deal with suspected patients and those infected with Coronavirus.
Al-Khader pointed out that the number of visitors to the respiratory clinic increased during the month of November, in addition to the increase in the number of patients suspected of being infected with Coronavirus.
