Patrick Desjardins hailed the outcome of a
"delicate"
and
"long-term"
investigation
into
"the execution of a very young man"
, having resulted,
"at the beginning of December"
, in the arrest of the last two suspects in this case.
One, 20 years old, living in the Sanitation district in Pointe-à-Pitre, was arrested in Guadeloupe, and the other, 22 years old, in France, in Asnières-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine).
The latter was the subject of a warrant.
A very first suspect, aged 18, was arrested in early October in Troyes (Aube), according to the same source.
"In the days following the events, he had decided to leave Guadeloupe to take refuge with his mother"
.
The three individuals, not particularly known to the services,
"all admit having been present at the time of the facts,"
said Patrick Desjardins.
They were remanded in custody.
The victim was found dead, in rigor mortis, on February 19, shot dead, on a trail of Anse Bertrand.

The nine months of investigation mobilized the Research Section of the Gendarmerie, in charge of the investigation, as well as the territorial brigade of Port-Louis, the Moule research brigade, technicians from the criminal identification cell of Pointe-à-Pitre, soldiers from the GIGN branch of Pointe-à-Pitre, and a metropolitan unit.
The investigators traveled several times in France until the arrest of the last suspect.
"The motive remains to be determined"
according to Patrick Desjardins, but it would seem to be able to be the theft of a weapon in the previous days.
"We also have young men who circulate in the world of narcotics but all this remains to be determined with precision"
, according to the prosecutor.
