The Schwandorfer district office had a
retirement home in Burglengenfeld
partially cleared
on Thursday
.
Almost 40 residents and 19 employees there were infected with Corona *.
The home has two houses, in one of which most of the
residents were
infected.
Some were so sick that they were being treated in clinics, others were to be brought to Regensburg for outpatient intensive care, others were allowed to stay in the home.
On Thursday evening, 65 emergency services were
busy
with the
evacuation
.
The authorities established the "nursing emergency" and organized emergency care for the night by an ambulance service.
In the second house of the senior citizens' residence, no residents have been infected so far.

Corona outbreak in Landshut slaughterhouse - another operation has already been a hotspot
There was also a Corona * outbreak in a slaughterhouse in Landshut.
70 employees are infected.
They are now under
quarantine
with their families and known contact persons
.
Two days ago, 43 corona cases were detected in the workforce in the slaughterhouse, and 27 more were added on Thursday.
In November there was already a corona outbreak in another slaughterhouse in Lower Bavaria.
The slaughterhouse in Vilshofen not far from Passau * was temporarily closed after more than 80 employees were infected.
Both slaughterhouses belong to the Vion Group from Buchloe.
