The National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) announced a new discovery in the Huei Tzompantli tower of skulls in Tenochtitlan, the old name of Mexico City.
Archaeologists from the Urban Archeology Program (PAU) reported that 119 human skulls were superficially visualized on the external facade of the tower, adding to the 484 previously identified.
