The Knesset plenum today (Wednesday) approved in a preliminary reading the bill that would regulate some of the illegal outposts in Judea and Samaria.

In this framework, the residents living in these places will receive all the municipal services to which every citizen is entitled, including connection to water and electricity infrastructure.

According to the bill, government ministries will see these neighborhoods and localities as recognized, including the transfer of budgets, assistance with infrastructure and the construction of educational and public buildings.

This proposal was initiated by MK Bezalel Smutrich (right), and was supported by 60 MKs, including three from the Blue and White Party - Minister Omer Yankelevich, Minister Pnina Temano Sheta and MK Hila Shai and Zan.

According to them, the move was approved in advance with blue and white chairman Bnei Gantz.

Peace Now condemned the law's approval in a preliminary reading.

The movement stated that "this is a law that a black flag is hoisted over and every Knesset member who voted for it endangers Israel's future as a Jewish and democratic state. The future of the territories will be determined by the public and not an extreme minority. Illegal outposts must be evacuated, not trained. Crime and Land Robbery Awards. "
