The Mexican singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero was admitted this Thursday morning to a hospital in Mexico City after presenting discomfort.

Manzanero was tested for covid-19 which was positive, the Association of Authors and Composers of Mexico told CNN.

“Manzanero is being treated according to established medical protocols.

We appreciate the concern and expressions of affection from the authors and composers, the general public and the media, ”said the association.
