A teacher in Zichron Yaacov was arrested last night (Sunday) on suspicion of violence against a toddler in the kindergarten where she works in the city.

Police opened an investigation into the case after the toddler's parents filed a complaint at a police station after noticing signs of sabotage on their baby son.
The teacher, a 59-year-old city resident, was detained for questioning at the city police station.
During her interrogation, the kindergarten teacher gave her version of what happened and denied that she had used violence against the baby.
At the end of her interrogation, the kindergarten teacher was released on restrictive conditions.
Police are continuing to investigate the case.
Last week, an assistant at a children's home in Petah Tikva was arrested on suspicion of using violence against the children of the "Legend of Montefiore" home in the city where she worked.
According to the suspect, the assistant slapped the toddlers on the mattresses while sleeping and used force when the children tried to get up from the mattress.
She was arrested after parents noticed her actions on the kindergarten cameras, to which they are connected online, and reported this to the kindergarten administration and the police.
She was later released on house arrest for six days.
Two weeks ago, caregiver Sapir Cohen was convicted of abuse after abusing toddlers in a daycare center in Haifa.
About two months ago, another aide was convicted, the details of which have not yet been released, according to her confession.
