The North Sinai Governorate in northeastern Egypt announced that the main gas pipeline feeding the city of Al-Arish had been bombed today in Sabika, west of the city.
The Seventh Day website quoted the governor of North Sinai, Muhammad Abdel Fadil Shousha, as saying in a statement that the bombing did not result in "human casualties," pointing out that "the concerned agencies are investigating and sweeping the site of the explosion to find out its cause."
A similar bombing targeted the middle of last month, the main gas pipeline in North Sinai.
