Here's what you need to know about the AstraZeneca 1:12 vaccine

The National Administration of Medicines, Food and Medical Technology of Argentina (ANMAT) announced this Wednesday that it authorized the emergency registration of the AstraZeneca vaccine against covid-19.
Through a statement, the health entity indicated that this vaccine meets "an acceptable benefit-risk balance," which allowed the granting of registration.
The authorization is for a period of one year and will be under the condition of "sale under prescription."

ANMAT communicated that a risk management plan must be complied with, in addition to communicating progress reports to the National Institute of Medicines (Iname).
Also this Wednesday, the AstraZeneca vaccine and the University of Oxford was approved by the regulatory authorities of the United Kingdom, a country that became the first to give it the endorsement.
This is the third vaccine against covid-19 that is authorized in Argentina, after that of Pfizer-BioNTech and Sputnik V, developed in Russia.
