Occupied Jerusalem - SANA
Dozens of Palestinians were suffocated today as a result of the Israeli occupation forces' suppression of the weekly anti-settlement demonstration of Kafr Qaddum, which demanded the opening of the village street, which has been closed for 17 years, east of Qalqilya in the West Bank.
The coordinator of the popular resistance in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Shteiwi, told Wafa that the occupation forces stormed the village and fired bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration, which led to dozens of suffocation cases.
The village of Kafr Qaddum is witnessing continuous demonstrations against the occupation on Friday and Saturday, which have become part of public life in the village, whose lands are devoured by the Apartheid Wall and settlement.
