Today, the Iranian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 5,960 cases and 102 new deaths from the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
Ministry spokeswoman Sima Sadat Larry said in a statement that the total number of people infected with the virus has reached 1243434 in Iran since the outbreak of the pandemic, while the number of people recovering has reached one million, 13 thousand and 18 people.
Sadat Lari added that the total number of deaths rose to 55,540 people, noting that 4 cities, Sari, Amal, Ramser and Sadkuh in Mazandaran Governorate in northern Iran are still hotbeds for the spread of the virus.
