Since the death of the beloved boy Godfather about two weeks ago, protests have been held every evening around the country, some of which are accompanied by violent incidents by both the police and the protesters.

The protesters, they testify, do not intend to let go, and although their main goal - closing the SJ square - cannot be achieved, they insist: we will continue to demonstrate - "the youth of the hills are all of us."

Long before the demonstration began last night on the death of a godfather who was killed after a police chase in Benjamin, large forces were stationed on Mount Hotzvim, near the target chosen this time for the main demonstration center: the offices of the Police Investigations Department, located in an office area usually abandoned on Saturday.

Despite the prominent attribution of the demonstrations to the youth of the hills, the protesters belong to several different streams.

The first to arrive in the area were ultra-Orthodox youths, who began to gather in a compound closed by the police.

Their appearance at last night's demonstration is not surprising, as their presence could be seen in many of the demonstrations held in the city in recent days.

"We are protesting against the police, against its severe violence against religious and ultra-Orthodox," they explained.

"The youth are tired of being a black sheep."

Demonstrator in Jerusalem, yesterday

Shortly after Shabbat, Yosef Frisman, one of the organizers of the demonstrations, is already arranging the stage.

On the way he asks the men and women to keep the separation and police instructions, but it is less successful.

The tone of the event is dictated by the studio girls.

Reut, 12, came with her mother Yael to the demonstration.

"We saw a demonstration by the left on the way, and there are no such large forces with horses," Reut described.

Yael, the mother, explains that her loved ones could also have been her child and therefore it was important for her to come.

"There is a lot of stone-throwing by Arabs and you will not see policemen throwing them. The children are not always right but how much they can suffer and more will come to them with complaints. These youth are tired of being a black sheep."

Split demonstration.

Already at the beginning of the demonstration it seemed to be divided, and not because of the organizers' request to maintain modesty and separation between women and men.

The youths left the stage and began confronting police officers in an attempt to block the nearby Central Junction.

"You should write the truth," says one of them, Lior: "In the demonstrations in Balfour only someone is being pushed - and the whole country is turbulent, here the violence of the police is much harder. But here it's okay because we have a dome and some with wigs And here it's a little easier to use force against the protesters. "

Hmctziot police worked overtime yesterday, and anxious watching nearby hill at the demonstration sustained volleys of water.

"The youth of the hills are all of us," a young woman from Jerusalem tells her friend while experiencing an amok run from the stream of water from the springs.

Despite their young age, it seems that at least for some this is not their first meeting with police officers.

"I heard you were arrested," said a girl who looked barely 14 years old to a boy who looked even younger.

"What happened, how was it?", She asked naturally.

More arrests are expected soon.

At the same time, just tens of meters away, her lover's father, Avraham Godfather, spoke.

He blamed the authorities for the death of his son, saying: "The captains of the state are the ones who sent the policemen and detectives of the SJ square, for its huge budgets and the cruel policing that sometimes goes against the law, to fight these wonderful youth."

He said, "The pain and destruction that often caused did not hurt the boys' spirits, but led to the death of her loved ones."

He called for the closure of the SJ square, a call that was repeated throughout the demonstration.

On stage, the organizers tried to calm down a bit, but when the father of one of the minors who was in the car with her loved one got up and was arrested, and at the beginning he objected to calling for an incident in which Godfather was killed - he snatched contempt and insults from several young people near the stage.

"It was the state captains who sent the cops to fight the youth."

While around 10:30 PM the organized part of the demonstration ended, hundreds of teenagers remained in the area, blocking the intersection and some confronting the police.

The water Bmct"ziot replaced liquid Skunk and cavalry finally managed to evict the protesters last.

Results The successive seemed well - fences were uprooted, rocks and projectiles at police and Hmctziot remain on the roads and sidewalks, and cars were damaged. 20 demonstrators were arrested that night, according to police eight officers injured . "it became a protest that turned violent riot sent by each unrestrained," said the head of operations of the Jerusalem district Alon Halfon, Walla! News.

According Halfon, other demonstrators rioted and documented by policemen throw stones are likely to be arrested soon. " We do extensive staff work and rely on intelligence assessments.

"We are preparing in the field with appropriate equipment, a wide deployment, orderly forces and special staff," he added. "This is a red line that we will not cross on the agenda.

The protesters were among different streams.

An hour after the demonstration, several protesters remained in nearby streets.

"Shame how the cops behaved towards us, pushing and hitting like we were terrorists. To the Balfour protesters they are gentle and nice, trying to portray us as violent, we are not, the cops treated us today with a very hard and unnecessary hand," they say.

The organizers tried to create a sense of widespread support that would lead to a huge demonstration, and eventually about two thousand demonstrators arrived, most of them ultra-Orthodox youths and young people from the settlements and from Jerusalem.

"Thousands have been going out across the country since the demonstrations began," they said at the beginning of the evening, making it clear: We are against violence that will be clear to everyone.

"In recent years, even since the disengagement the right-wing public has not taken to the streets, this story has taken and will take thousands to the streets," they added.

Politicians and heads of councils in Judea and Samaria who no longer renounce the hill boys were also absent from the demonstration.

However, they also did not condemn them or the violence that characterized them.

"The relationship between the youth of the hills and the heads of the Yesha Council is much better now, maybe they do not support the demonstrations but they did not go out against the public in a settlement that most understand the anger of the young people," explained one of the demonstrators.
