Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, affirmed that the plots, attacks and coercive measures against Syria and Cuba represent blatant violations of international law and are doomed to failure in light of the determination of the leaderships and peoples of the two friendly countries to defend their rights.
This came during a phone call made by Minister Al-Miqdad today with the Minister of Foreign Relations in the Republic of Cuba, Bruno Rodriguez Baria, during which he congratulated the leadership, the government and the friendly Cuban people for the sixty-second anniversary of the victory of the Cuban Revolution, stressing that the victory of the Cuban Revolution is an occasion cherished by all liberals around the world.
In his turn, Minister Rodriguez Paria expressed his thanks to the leadership, government and people of Cuba to the Syrian leadership, government and people for their stances in support of his country in all areas.
The two ministers agreed during the call on the need to strengthen and strengthen cooperation between the two sides in various fields, especially in light of the Corona pandemic and the coercive measures imposed by some Western countries against the two countries. They also stressed the importance of continuing coordination between the two parties in various international forums and conferences and within the framework of the United Nations.
