We organized a major campaign on a regional scale.
It had never been done, and besides many said it was impossible.
In one week, 760,000 people, or about 10% of the population, were tested.
This is three times more than what was done until then.
This allowed us to detect twice as many positive cases, around 30,000.
This campaign was carried out with 1312 temporary test sites so that each inhabitant can test themselves within 20 minutes of their home.

This logistical challenge was made possible thanks to a formidable teamwork with the ARS, Medicare and nearly 19,000 people on the bridge: elected officials, doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratories, firefighters, etc.
We have mobilized all the resources of the region around this common cause.
We functioned by delegating a lot and generating momentum
