A hill fire broke out in Sha Tin, and the fire lasted for more than 12 hours and has not subsided.
The scene was at the top of Guanyin Mountain. It is understood that at about 9:05 pm yesterday (4th), the authorities received multiple reports that there was a mountain fire in Guanyin Mountain and the fire department sent personnel to fight the fire.
About an hour later, at 10 o'clock in the evening, the authorities again received a report from residents of Regal Garden on Tai Chung Bridge Road, hoping that there would be a fire on the top of the hill, but the fire became more intense; and today (5th) at 5 o'clock in the morning, The authorities again received reports from many residents of Shuiquan'ao Village, stating that when they looked outside their homes, they found a long line of fire.
It is understood that at about 7 am today, firefighters discovered that there were two lines of fire at the site, one of which was 2 kilometers long; the other was about 300 meters long, and they are still fighting.
"Hong Kong 01" arrived at Bokang Village, Sha Tin, and looked up at about 7 o'clock this morning. It was found that the top of the hill was bright red by the fire and mixed with dense smoke.
At 8 o'clock in the morning, the fire lasted for more than 12 hours, and the ashes of the mountain fire drifted to the area of Phase 3 of Tsz Ai Court and the center of Tsz Wan Shan.
There are currently two lines of fire, one of which is 1 kilometer long and the other is about 400 meters long. The flight service team has been deployed to fight the fire.
