This morning (6th) a group of pan-democrats were suddenly arrested by the police. As of 8:30 this morning, the police arrested 52 people, including promoters and candidates.
According to the Facebook page of some arrested persons, the incident was related to last year's "35+ Democrat Primary Election", and some people were charged with "subverting state power" in violation of the National Security Law.
