The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection this evening, based on the recommendation of the Economic Committee and the book of the Ministry of Oil and Mineral Resources, issued a decision to set the selling price for a liter of subsidized premium gasoline to the consumer at 475 Syrian Pounds.
In the decision, of which SANA received a copy, the ministry set the selling price of a liter of premium, unsupported gasoline to the consumer at 675 Syrian pounds.
The ministry also set the selling price of a liter of "95 octane" gasoline at 1,300 Syrian pounds.
In the decision, which comes into effect at midnight, the Ministry called on the owners of the stations to announce the prices and quality of gasoline in a clear and legible manner within the stations, with penalties imposed in case of violation.
