The Ministry of Health today (Wednesday) officially confirmed that anyone who received the two doses of the vaccine and waited seven days - is released from isolation back to Israel, from any country in the world.
The exemption from isolation is not conditional on the morbidity situation in the country from which you are returning, so that vaccinated people can fly to anything in the world that accepts Israelis - and return without the need for isolation in Israel.
It is important to emphasize that those who are exempt from isolation are only those who received two doses of vaccine in Israel and waited seven days (excluding vaccination day) in Israel, and only then went abroad. Success: Now, the situation is clarifying and this is great news for millions of Israelis.
Currently, a little more than 2.2 million citizens in Israel were vaccinated with the first dose, with more than half a million already receiving the second vaccine.
The expectation is that in a little over a month, there will be about three million Israelis vaccinated and more than half a million recovering, who are also currently exempt from isolation back to Israel.
Some of the countries that are already accepting Israelis are: the United States, Mexico, Turkey, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Serbia, the Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, Panama, the United Arab Emirates, Rwanda and more. Cyprus is expected to receive vaccines as early as March this year and it is expected that many more countries will take similar steps soon.
Yesterday it was decided that everyone returning to Israel is required to present a negative corona test from the 72 hours prior to landing in the country. Vaccinated and recovering are also exempt from this decision and can return to the country without any requirement.
At the same time, Emirates of Dubai, which is expected to start flying to Israel as early as next month, will soon start operating a green passport together with IATA. And assist in regulating the issue of flights alongside the corona plague, vaccinated and the condition of passengers in all matters related to corona. The information of course will not pass without the passenger's permission and will be done voluntarily, the organization notes.
