Four days to submit the lists: The gathering around the blocking percentage has not yet been dispersed. • Michaeli will wait for the list to be formulated - and will require Huldai to join as number 2 •

Tension around the armor

Closing the lists on Thursday will solve one of the mysteries that mainly intrigues Likud members: who will be Netanyahu's six armored personnel carriers.

As you may recall, the primaries for the party list were canceled, and it was decided to allow Netanyahu to reserve six candidates in places 5 or 10, 26, 28, 36, 39 and 40 on the list.

Netanyahu: "Ganz folds against Nissenkorn, which imposes a dictatorship of officials" // From the Prime Minister's Facebook page

As of last night, Netanyahu is still keeping the identity of the armor to himself.

In recent weeks, several names of people who have been mentioned as possible candidates to join the Likud have been published, including Orly Levy-Abaxis and Gal Hirsch.

In addition, several personalities have already rejected a proposal for armor, including former Health Ministry Director General Moshe Bar-Siman Tov and Netanya Mayor Miriam Feierberg.

Will not connect with others

The Yesh Atid party, led by Yair Lapid, will run independently in the upcoming elections, according to the party's chairman, who is running his own election campaign.

The party, which is gaining momentum in opinion polls and is considered the second largest party after the Likud, will focus its election campaign on the words "sane government."

In order to achieve this, Bish Atid will attack Netanyahu's conduct during the Corona plague.

Yair Lapid: "A connection to blue and white is out of the question" // From Facebook

The party recently armed itself with Minister for Social Equality Meirav Cohen, who left Bnei Gantz's blue and white party.

In addition, Bish Atid will continue to base the Russian vote, which has been overseen by MK Yoel Rezbozov since the beginning. Lapid, for his part, is also trying to moderate the ultra-Orthodox issue, against which he suffers from a negative image due to mistakes he made at the beginning of his political career. In the coming days, reinforcement players will join, such as Tzipi Livni.

Focus: Area layout

In the coming days, we are not expected to see a drastic change in everything related to the list that Gideon Saar will present.

80% of the list is already closed by the people featured.

This week, the party will be joined mainly by "field" people, including heads of councils and local authorities.

Saar: "I will establish a party and I will face Netanyahu" // From Facebook

At the same time, no less than 110 new branches have opened in the party so far.

Closing the lists will also lead to the termination of possible connection scenarios with other parties.

The main scenario that is raised in the political system is a connection with Bennett - but such a step, in very high probability, will not happen.

The party is not thrilled by the "bleeding" of the seats in the polls.

They are confident that the trend will stop in the coming weeks.

Attempt to maintain unity

In the joint list, it is not yet clear whether it will run for the 24th Knesset in a unified framework of the four parties, or whether the conflict with the chairman of RAAM, Mansour Abbas, will lead to the dissolution of the list in two.

Bennett announced: "I will run for prime minister"

Over the weekend, talks and meetings were held between senior members of the four parties in an attempt to resolve the disagreements on the list.

However, despite the enormous pressure from senior members of the Arab sector on the heads of the joint to resolve the disputes, no significant progress was made in the contacts - and senior officials on the list said that Chairman Ram Abbas remained firm in the conditions he set.

The efforts to maintain the unity of the joint list are led by the faction's chairman, Dr. Ahmad Tibi, who was elected this weekend by the Ta'al Council to continue to head the party.

Fewer stars

On the right, the plan of the party's chairman and candidate for prime minister, Naftali Bennett, to eradicate the corona in Israel was announced over the weekend.

The party intends to present plans and ideas, and the main message - they must replace the failing leadership, they say, in order to rehabilitate the economy and unite the people.

"There is another leadership" is the official campaign slogan.

Deri: "Commits to return Saar and Bennett to the right-wing camp after the election" // From Facebook

In the coming week, Bennett will present the party's list to the Knesset.

Famous figures or big names are not expected to be included there.

According to his associates, Bennett wants people with a proven track record in various fields to reflect the message - a party that comes to work for the public, and no more politicians who work for themselves.

A reconnection with Smutrich is out of the question.

The party's assessment is that despite everything, Smutrich will eventually connect with the Jewish House and Itamar Ben Gvir, and the right will continue to bring in center-right audiences.

Highlighting the young

Closing the lists in Shas has become a political boredom in the last election campaign - and it is certainly a positive turnaround. It is hard to forget the years when there were struggles between the top three, changes in leadership - and even facing Eli Yishai's list. Now the party remains quiet and stable. Mandates in the polls.

The party list has changed its face in recent years.

Deri has included active and talented young people such as Moshe Arbel, Yinon Azulai, Yossi Tayeb, Uriel Bosso, Michael Malkieli and others, who are gaining popularity in the ultra-Orthodox community and outside it.

Another young man, Haim Bitton, who is considered a rising star in the ultra-Orthodox-Spanish public, who serves as the party's director general and chairman of its educational institutions, is expected to join the upcoming closing of the lists.

One of the scenarios that emerged this week is that following the riots in the ultra-Orthodox cities and the public anger over the ultra-Orthodox sector, Shas may be harmed. In the last election, 130,000 non-religious voters were added and the fear was that following the events, those voters would not want to identify with an ultra-Orthodox party.

Despite this, party professionals estimate that the events will not harm the party, as in their view there is a distinction between the ultra-Orthodox-Sephardic public, which adheres to the guidelines and whose rabbis condemned the events of the week - and the Hassidic sector where there are systematic violations.

Gafni and Litzman head to head

Torah Judaism will be busy this week compiling the list for submission on Thursday.

Almost like an election campaign, as the submission date approaches, there is talk of a separation between the two factions that make up the party (the Lithuanian "Degel HaTorah" and the Hassidic "Agudat Yisrael") - usually as part of a negotiation process of determining positions and positions.

Between the two heads of the factions, Moshe Gafni and Yaakov Litzman, there is a debate about the division of the first place and the senior position.

It is estimated that eventually things will work out and the parties, once again, will run as one party.

The party has not yet started the election campaign.

In her case, almost always, starting just a few weeks before Election Day.

The party estimates that the events of the past week around the ultra-Orthodox sector can actually help them in the upcoming elections strengthen the feelings that the ultra-Orthodox sector is being persecuted and defamed - thus maximizing the amount of ultra-Orthodox public that will come.

New names on the episode

On Tuesday, the party conference will convene and publish the list of candidates to be brought for approval by the party center, which recent polls expect about six seats.

It is estimated that new names will be inserted in the fifth and sixth places.

In recent days, their candidates for the list have submitted their candidacy for the list, Adv. Batya Kahana Dror, former director of the Dead End organization that works for agunot women.

Kahana Dror ran in the Jewish House primaries in 2015 and was forced to withdraw her candidacy, following opposition from rabbis to joining the party.

He also nominated his candidate for the list, Prof. Yossi Shein, from Tel Aviv University, an expert in political science and international relations.

Yisrael Beiteinu, which signed a surplus agreement with the Yesh Atid party, does not intend to join any party.

They reiterate the need to change the government, ie to replace Netanyahu and remove the ultra-Orthodox parties from the coalition.

As part of the future coalition negotiations, the Yisrael Beiteinu party intends to demand the finance portfolio from Avigdor Lieberman.

Beyond that, the party intends to demand the internal security portfolios, the health portfolio, as well as the traditional immigration and absorption portfolio.

Anti-Haredi line

Towards the deadline for submitting the lists, Meretz is calling for the withdrawal of the "percentage-fragment parties" in the left-wing bloc, so as not to lose potential votes in the struggle against the Netanyahu bloc.

"Anyone who does not scratch the blocking percentage should just go home," party chairman Nitzan Horowitz called yesterday, adding that unlike previous rounds, "Meretz will be a crucial factor in forming a new government after the election."

The party claims that only Meretz can be trusted not to crawl into the Netanyahu government, fight religious coercion and push for a peace process with the Palestinians, while "the Labor Party has repeatedly crept into the Netanyahu governments."

Merav Michaeli was elected Labor leader: "Together we will restore trust in the party" // From Facebook

The party leaders trust the dedicated core of its supporters and convey confidence in an aspiration to get at least the five seats that the polls are currently expecting, even if unification takes place in the left bloc.

Therefore, the party intends to run independently and "will not bring defectors and vote-stealers into the Knesset."

After emphasizing the connection to the Arab sector through armor Jida Rinawi-Zoabi in fourth place, alongside the harsh criticism of the prime minister's attempt to court the Arab voice - the Left Party's campaign sharpened last week.

In focus this time: the anti-Haredi line, among other things on the assumption that other parties in the center-left will campaign on a similar line.

Meretz hung Pashkvils on the billboards in Bnei Brak, calling for a distinction between the ultra-Orthodox public and its leaders, claiming that "the leaders of the ultra-Orthodox public have abandoned their flocks and no longer distinguish between good and evil."

Preparing for unions

Merav Michaeli, chairman of the Labor Party, is preparing for unification in the center-left bloc in order to prevent the loss of votes.

Michaeli is expected to act immediately after the primaries for the Labor list, which will be held tomorrow, to promote a process of unification of Labor with the "Israelis" party led by Ron Huldai and the "Tnufa" party of Ofer Shelach.

At work there is a sense of awakening and renewal, which has brought new functionaries to the party, alongside dozens of contenders for a place on the list.

The party chairman said that "immediately after the primaries I promise to make sure that no vote in the center-left bloc goes to waste.

I promise you - no ego, no personal interest or little political accounting will stop me. "

Ganz calls on all members of the center-left: "Let's unite, without past sediment and without ego" // From Facebook

As stated, after the primaries, Chairman Michaeli is expected to promote the possibility of unification with the "Israelis" party, provided that Huldai agrees to be after Michaeli on the united left list. The primaries for the job list will be held in anticipation of a diverse list, with equal representation between women and men. .

After a continuous shuffle in the polls and a drop below the blocking percentage, the election of Michaeli breathed life into the job, which received five seats in the "Israel Today" poll - a figure that gives a boost to party members.

Big campaign budget

Although blue-and-white chairman Bnei Gantz openly called on the center-left parties for the essays, and although he forwarded an e-mail summons in favor of the party leaders - and none of them was answered, Gantz's condition now depends, in particular, on the question of the essays around him.

That is, will parties that do not pass the blocking percentage join - and thus actually weaken its power.

In the last week, Ganz has launched a new campaign in which he is presented as "honest."

This word will accompany Ganz's election campaign, which has a large election budget following the achievement of seats in the last election.

Despite the large election budget, none of the parties is interested in joining the Blue and White Party.

This is because Blue and White did not keep its election promise - and entered the Netanyahu government following the Corona crisis.

Blue and white were abandoned one by one by nine MKs, and despite the desire to introduce new castings - now only Itzik Shmuli seems to be the one who will join Ganz's party.

However, its location is not yet clear and so is the final closure of the list order.

Blue and white stand for five seats in the polls, and near Ganz are trying to convince him and those around him that this number is definitely going to go up, although the situation now is not simple.

Encouraged by the upward trend

Prof. Yaron Zelicha, chairman of the Economic Party, reiterates that the party will run alone until the end - and there will be a surprise election. The party encourages the "Israel Today" poll published this weekend, where it passed, for the first time, the blocking percentage. The party has several polls that were close to the blocking percentage, and the party estimates that this trend will continue.

Zelicha, who is running for office as finance minister, continues his harsh economic criticism of the government and attacks its policies.

"Netanyahu's plan is a soup kitchen, and there is not a single growth engine in it to rescue the economy from the crisis," the chairman argued. "Netanyahu, Katz and the ultra-Orthodox parties should be removed from the state budget quickly."

Zelicha emphasizes that he will not sit under Netanyahu under any conditions.

In his interviews, Zelicha emphasizes that on his "first day" as finance minister, he will make a series of dramatic moves: repeal the Capital Investment Encouragement Law;

Dismantling the gas monopoly and imposing controls on its prices;

Elimination of import quotas on food and opening of the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries to competition.

Negotiations with the Jewish Home

The Religious Zionist Party continues to prepare for the election campaign and in the coming week is expected to continue compiling and formulating the list for the Knesset.

The party says that the expected connection with the Jewish home will position the list as representing the whole of religious Zionism.

Sources on the list estimate that the expected merger after the election will return religious Zionism to the days before the split in 1999, when there was only one party for the national-religious public.

Religious Zionism is satisfied with the internal polls in which it seems that the party is expected to achieve significant and respectable representation alongside the positioning of Bezalel Smutrich at the top.

Following Hagit Moshe's victory in the election for chairman of the Jewish House, the way was paved for the connection between the Jewish House and religious Zionism. The two parties are now in advanced negotiations. Officially, the parties refuse to talk about the wording of the negotiations. Disproportionate. Therefore, the negotiations first encounter difficulties. Either way, it is estimated that an author will happen - the question is under what conditions.

Absolute compartmentalization in the party

The Jewish Home Party continues its attempts to unite with the Religious Zionist Party, headed by Bezalel Smutrich.

After a week of trying to reach an understanding, it seems that the negotiations between the parties are in positive momentum.

On Friday, a relatively puzzling announcement was made regarding updates on the ongoing negotiations. "A joint announcement from the religious Zionist parties and the Jewish Home," the headline reads. However, no further substantive update was given beyond that. "Negotiations between the party representatives resumed. "A meeting was held in a good atmosphere and, God willing, progress was made," the statement said.

Subsequently, both parties refused to provide further information.

A source in the Jewish House explained that even the party's senior officials are not up to date with what is happening, out of a decision to negotiate in complete compartmentalization - which is why both sides are now fortifying themselves in silence.

The deadline is this coming Tuesday, when the Jewish Home Conference (Bezom) was scheduled to approve agreements for a joint run.

Until then, the parties need to reach an understanding.

Consent: The campaign is failing

Ron Huldai's "Israelis" party should have been the most refreshing thing in the 2020 elections, but very quickly it crashed below the blocking percentage.

All the weight of the failure is placed in "Israelis" on the party's failed campaign, which simply does not work.

The party, which fell below the blocking percentage, continues to display on billboards its leader Huldai in a duel as a leader - in front of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and sends a message detached from reality in light of its situation in the polls.

"Israelis" are looking to find the right connection and are staring at the Labor Party of incoming chairman Merav Michaeli, who is in a better position than theirs. Now the question is whether Huldai, who is in double booking - running for Knesset while being mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo, He will agree to be in second place under Michaeli, or he will decide not to swear to the Knesset in the end - and will remain the mayor of Tel Aviv-Yafo.

Either way, things depend on the possible connection, which of course will be made if and when by Thursday.

Connection - at full power

Most polls show that the Jewish Power Party does not pass the blocking percentage if it runs alone.

Therefore, similar to the previous elections, the party understands that they must connect.

In recent days, elements in the party have been working for a great unification of the right and religious Zionism.

According to party estimates, the chairman of the Religious Zionist Party, Bezalel Smutrich, is not interested in unification.

The starting point of those in charge of the party's strategy is that Smutrich will not run alone, because like Jewish power - there is a fear that running alone will not pass the blocking percentage.

The party is working for connections with several parties, including Eli Yishai's Noam and Yahad parties.

The party's goal in the upcoming elections is 61 seats for the right-wing bloc and to prevent the formation of a left-wing government.

"We believe that indeed the criticism leveled at Bennett by Smutrich is correct, every word in the rock," they say with Jewish intensity.

According to them, "there must be a party on the right of Bennett and the Likud. There must be a party that works for a Jewish identity, a legal agenda, and also focuses on fighting enemies. The right has no government without connections. It is true that we said that on Monday and Tuesday, but it turns out we were right! "

Dan Lavie, Yehuda Schlesinger, Daniel Roth-Avnery, Yair Altman, Yuri Yalon, Daniel Sirioti and Efrat Forscher participated in the preparation of the project.
