Benno Neumair
, the 30-year-old investigated since January 18 by the Bolzano Public Prosecutor's Office for the alleged murder and concealment of the corpses of his parents, Peter Neumair and Laura Perselli, who disappeared since January 4, remains in prison.
This was decided by the judge for preliminary investigations, Carla Scheidle, following the interrogation to validate the arrest.
For the prosecutor, Igor Secco, there are "all three precautionary needs", therefore, besides the danger of escape, the repetition of the crime and the probative pollution.
"The gravity of the fact, on which the legislator also intervened, can never be assumed for the danger of escape. Just as mere foreign acquaintances do not allow the conditions for the danger of escape", is the comment of the lawyer defender Angelo Polo.
Benno had presented himself to the Public Prosecutor's Office after the provision issued late Thursday evening "following some recent elements acquired in the course of the investigations" - stated a note - and was therefore taken to the prison in via Dante in Bolzano.
The boy made use of the right not to answer during the court guarantee hearing.
