This Saturday, at the legal curfew time set at 6 p.m., for which Prime Minister Jean Castex asked this Friday for reinforced health checks, the deputy central commissioner of the 13th arrondissement of Paris, Pierre-Yves Destombes, and his teams surveyed rue Bobillot and the Butte-aux-Cailles sector.

At the foot of the gigantic Italy 2 shopping center, which, with its 56,000 square meters, will close its doors this Sunday.

In the coming days, health checks will continue in the streets of the capital.

But also in shops where the attendance gauge must be respected.

This Saturday, the Paris police headquarters announced that it was checking on average between 300 and 400 establishments open to the public every day.

Since January 1, 34 Parisian shops have been closed for a period of two weeks, including eight supermarkets, for non-compliance with the curfew or for failure to respect the wearing of masks.

In addition, in recent days, more marked action has been taken to detect and sanction “illegal” restaurants discreetly welcoming customers who consume on the spot, for lunch or dinner.

On Thursday and Friday, 24 of these establishments in total were detected.

Debriefings have been established and an administrative closure will be notified to everyone.

Finally, on Friday evening, in the 11th arrondissement, seven businesses that remained open during the curfew were closed immediately.

The shopping centers closed in Paris from this Sunday are the Forum des Halles, Italie 2, the south building of the Beaugrenelle center, the Montparnasse shopping center, Vill'up, the BHV Marais, the Galeries Lafayette, the Printemps Haussmann and Le Bon Market.
