Protests renewed today in Tripoli, Beirut, Sidon, and some Lebanese regions, calling for an improvement in the living situation.

The Lebanese National News Agency reported that a number of protesters blocked the Tripoli Beddawi highway with burning tires in protest at the general closure and the deterioration of living conditions, while other protesters cut off some of the lanes of Abdel Hamid Karami Square with burning tires and waste bins in protest against the difficult living conditions, noting that the Lebanese army had set up mobile barriers in The streets of Tripoli have also carried out some raids to search for some of those involved in the attacks that took place in the previous days.

The Traffic Control Room in Tripoli indicated that a feminist protest march cut off the Badawi highway in both directions in protest against the deterioration of living conditions and their inability to secure the necessary supplies for their families.

In the capital, Beirut, protesters organized a march in front of the home of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities in the caretaker government, Mohamed Fahmy, amid a security deployment, chanting slogans and chants denouncing what happened in Tripoli, while other protesters carried out a stand in Beirut's Martyrs Square, during which they raised slogans denouncing what they called the starvation policy.

In Hasbaya and Marjayoun, protest marches started from the Hasbaya market square towards the main market, rejecting the economic collapse and the high prices of fuel and foodstuffs.

In Sidon, a protest was held at the Elia Roundabout, stressing the necessity to fulfill all the rightful and legitimate demands of the Lebanese people.

More than a hundred people were injured in clashes between protesters and security forces in Tripoli, while the Lebanese army announced the restoration of calm in the city and the arrest of five people in connection with the events.
