The victory that moved America:

4-year-old Stella Martin was released from the hospital after battling the corona virus.

Stella Martin not only faced the deadly virus, but also the meningitis and pneumonia that developed in its wake.

She is now beginning to recover physically and mentally.

"My daughter was hospitalized on April 24," mother Cassandra Yazi told the American media. "Instead, and the body's antibodies attack the infection and damage the nerves of the spine. I don't know how Stella contracted it. I suspect she was exposed to someone at the time unintentionally."

4-year-old Stella Martin was diagnosed with coronavirus in April 2020 at the University of New Mexico Hospital and after months of fighting the virus was able to go home in January.

The daughter was immediately hospitalized at the University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque, where she stayed for five months.

At the hospital her condition worsened and she suffered from severe pneumonia and high fever.

The doctors even put her to sleep for three weeks.

"My heart was torn inside me. I was separated from her and could not see her. The nurses were in touch with me and told me that she sometimes wakes up with a smile, but sometimes cries," the mother said.

But in May, Stella recovered from the virus and reunited with her mother.

The doctors made an incision in her trachea so she could breathe more easily.

After her condition improved, she was transferred to the Children’s Hospital, where she remained until last month.

The mother said that despite the deaths of her husband and father, she continued to fight for her daughter's life.
