Since 8:30 last night (6th), the government has restricted people in the "restricted area" of Tower 9 of the Gold Coast Phase II from staying at their premises and undergoing mandatory testing early this morning.

As of 2 am today, about 175 residents have been tested and no confirmed cases have been found.

The government also sent staff to visit 88 households, of which 17 households were not answered during the process and will take measures to follow up.

The government completed the mandatory testing at about 7 am today (7th).

In addition, the government has restricted persons in Huafa Building in To Kwa Wan from staying at their premises and undergoing mandatory testing since 8 o'clock last night (6th).

As of midnight today, 307 residents have been tested and no confirmed cases have been found.

The government also sent personnel to visit 135 households, of which 14 households did not answer the door during the process and will take measures to follow up.

The government completed the mandatory testing at about 7 am today (7th).

Starting from about 7 am today, people who have been tested in the two designated "restricted areas" at Tower 9 of the Gold Coast Phase II and Huafa Building, To Kwa Wan, can show negative test results via SMS or wear a wristband. To prove that they are subject to mandatory testing, they can leave the "restricted area" through designated exits after providing personal information to prescribed personnel.

The government is also carrying out law enforcement actions in the "restricted area", confirming that all persons in the "restricted area" have undergone compulsory testing, and will separately announce the time when the "relevant announcement" is officially revoked.

The government quoted the "Prevention and Control of Diseases (Compulsory Testing for Certain Persons) Regulations" (Chapter 599J) yesterday and issued a restriction and testing announcement. Since 7.35 pm yesterday, the 9th Tower of the Gold Coast Phase II "Restricted" Persons within the area" and Huafa Building, To Kwa Wan, must stay on their premises and undergo compulsory testing until all identified persons in the area have completed the tests and the relevant test results have been roughly confirmed before leaving their premises .

Huafa Building in To Kwa Wan and 9 blocks of Phase 2 of the Gold Coast were sealed off last night. The previous mandatory inspection order did not include the above two buildings. They were gazetted only when the area was closed, and procedural errors were suspected.
