Gottschalk said in an interview with the German Press Agency (dpa) in December that he could understand the postponement of the “retro edition” last year.
"I think that's right," he told the dpa.

A few days ago, however, Gottschalk had told Bild-Zeitung that it would be a one-time thing for him.
It makes no sense to use the special as an opportunity to revive the format.
