Morena's federal deputy Lorena Villavicencio, along with a group of militants and supporters of said political party, asked Morena to side with those who point to sexual abuse against Félix Salgado Macedonio, candidate for governor in the Mexican state of Guerrero.
CNN requested a reaction from Salgado Macedonio, but this Friday he replied that at the moment he would not grant interviews.
Meanwhile, feminist groups in Mexico demanded that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador intervene to stop this candidacy.
