Britain recorded 6,609 new infections with the Coronavirus and 175 deaths from it during the past 24 hours.
Reuters quoted British government data that the total number of deaths from the virus reached 125,343 cases, while the total number of infections reached four million and 248,286 cases.
The data also indicated that 23 million and 314 thousand and 525 people received the first dose of vaccines against Covid 19.
Britain is still ranked fifth in the world among the countries most affected by the Corona virus in terms of the number of infections and deaths, after the United States, India and Brazil.
