- It is a little paradoxical to answer yes, while a re-containment is hovering over Île-de-France and the AstraZeneca vaccine has just been suspended.
It is true that certain signals can make us optimistic - even if there are still a few difficult months to go, especially for the sectors which are stopped.
The crisis we are experiencing is very atypical, because it is very concentrated on certain companies in the face-to-face economy or in certain industrial sectors, while others are doing well.
The same goes for households.
Aggregate purchasing power continued to increase in 2020, as students, the self-employed and those remote from employment suffered significantly.
I remind you that during the last great crisis, in 2009, the decline in GDP was only 2.2%, but unemployment much higher.
