International classical music compositions chosen by the musician duo Ziad Abbas on the Violin and Muhammad Ibrahim on the piano as part of a musical evening that collected works of major international authors at the Theater of the Palace of Culture in Homs.

The evening's tones were characterized by harmony and a special harmony expressed by the two players with the depth and richness of the eight pieces, which were divided into 4 paragraphs, the first of which was Spanish dances, followed by a classic violin concerto and a solo playing of the piano, to conclude the evening with a Lacambanella piece.

The compositions belong to the world’s leading authors from Germany, Russia, Austria, Italy and Finland, “Jan Sibelius, Johann Bach, Franz List, Tchaikovsky, Niccol Paganini and Sarasati”.

Violinist Abbas, a student of the College of Dentistry at Tishreen University, explained in a statement to the cultural lasana that Homs was chosen as the first governorate to host the evening after its launch in Lattakia because of its singular and distinctive musical taste, pointing out that he, accompanied by Ibrahim, sought to convey this type of music to people In general, it has a specificity that makes it one of the most honest emotional acts.

Ibrahim, a student at the College of Human Medicine and the Higher Institute of Music, saw in our contemporary life the music constitutes an essential pulse that allows us to wander through times and places.

A number of the attendees expressed their enjoyment of the pieces, pointing out that the great musical works stir emotion and positive interaction as a fine human art that nourishes the individual's soul in every place and time.
