The Foreign Minister of Mexico, Marcelo Ebrard, confirmed that he is negotiating a contract to acquire a batch of vaccines against covid-19 from the United States.
Ebrard did not reveal more data but details are expected to be released on Friday.
Health authorities also warned that they will not discontinue use of the AstraZeneca vaccine.
The arrival of 6 million bulk doses of this vaccine is expected on March 24 to be packaged in the country.
