A 24-year-old man was shot to death on Wednesday and his partner was injured when they were attacked while having sex inside a car in the Buenos Aires town of González Catán,
La Matanza district
.
Investigators are working to determine if it was an attempted assault or a
hate crime
, since the couple's wife declared that they recently ended their marriage on bad terms and that the attackers
did not steal anything.
The incident occurred this morning at the intersection of Scarlatti Street and National Route 3. According to sources, the members of the 2nd police station.

, was without vital signs next to a 24-year-old woman who had a bullet in the thigh.

both were about to have sex
inside a Chevrolet Corsa vehicle, parked in a field, when they were surprised by two armed men who, without a word, fired several shots.
The officers found Pérez half naked and with a gunshot wound to his left thigh that caused his death.
Moments later, an ambulance arrived at the scene and confirmed the death of the man, and transferred the woman to the hospital in the area to receive medical attention for a gunshot wound.
As reported by the spokesmen to the

, the woman said that a few days ago she had ended her last marriage on very bad terms and, although the identity of the aggressors is unknown, the police are working on the hypothesis of a hate crime, already that no missing parts were observed in the cabin of the vehicle.
The crime is investigated by the prosecutor Federico Medone, in charge of the Functional Instruction Unit (UFI) specialized in Homicides in La Matanza.
