Since March 3, the city's convention center has become a vaccination center, managed by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (Fema).

With the help of the National Guard, mobilized to provide medical and logistical support, the center operates twelve hours a day, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and delivers the vaccine produced by the Pfizer company.

Since its opening, the vaccination rate has been 6000 doses per day.

“We even go up to 7000 on weekends,”

explains a Fema agent.
