Dr. Buthaina Shaaban, the special advisor in the Presidency of the Republic, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Jerusalem International Foundation - Syria, affirmed that whoever defends Palestine and Jerusalem defends himself, his city and his homeland, and despite all the difficult data, both from the Arab and regional realities, there is no doubt that the right is with us.

In a press conference held today after the annual meeting of the Foundation's Board of Trustees at the Dama Rose Hotel, Shaaban said: Syria, under the leadership of President Bashar al-Assad, has withstood and won a war that parallels the pain of the two world wars. We should not underestimate what we have achieved, but rather draw strength from it.

Shaaban saw that the rush to normalization is a recognition of the inevitability of the weakness of the Zionist entity in the face of clear rights and the growing axis of resistance, pointing out that what the Zionist enemy aims at is not normalization but domination of the region and the elimination of the Arabic language, existence and civilization, which confirms the necessity of rootedness in the land and serious intellectual, cultural and media work. Calling for the Jerusalem issue, the Syrian issue and all our Arab issues to be taken to the world, and to the free people of the world who are biased towards truth and truth.

In a press statement read by the Vice President of the Council and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation Basil Al-Jadaan, he reviewed the current situation in the occupied city of Jerusalem in light of the policy of Judaization in its various forms and the real danger that the continuation of these policies poses to the identity of the city in its cultural and civilizational aspects, especially the attempts of the occupation authorities to Judaize the city and isolate it from the rest West Bank cities, continued settlements, forcibly confiscated lands from their owners, and demolished homes.

The statement emphasized that normalization constitutes a betrayal of the rights of the nation and the sacrifices of its sons who sacrificed for the sake of regaining the stolen land through a conflict that has spanned more than a hundred years and will continue until rights return to their owners, noting that despite the deviation and conspiracy, the resistance of the Palestinian people and the people in Jerusalem continues and is based on their fortified castle, Syria. Which was and will always be the bearer of the banner of Arabism, resistance and the solid wall that is indomitable

The statement called for activating the mobility of all forces at the levels of confrontation in all its forms in order to save Jerusalem, liberate the occupied Arab lands in Palestine and the Syrian Arab Golan and prevent the enemy from achieving its goals.

In his intervention, the Assistant Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine, General Command, Dr. Talal Naji, affirmed that there are great dangers to all the Palestinian territories, including Jerusalem, and that all honorable and free people of the world must stand by the Palestinian cause to confront the Zionist and American plans on them, thanking Syria for its firm and principled stances to The side of the Palestinian people.
