Algerian media reported that the shipment of vaccines arrived at Houari Boumediene airport in the capital as a donation within the "Kovacs" mechanism, in the presence of the representative of the World Health Organization and the representative of UNICEF.
In addition, Algerian Minister of Health Abdel-Rahman Ben Bouzid said that the epidemiological situation related to the Corona pandemic is "stable".
It is noteworthy that "Kovacs" is an international mechanism launched by the World Health Organization in conjunction with the Global Alliance for Vaccines for Innovation in the field of epidemic preparedness and supports the establishment of vaccine manufacturing facilities and procurement.
Yesterday, the Algerian Ministry of Health announced the registration of 125 new infections and 3 deaths from the Corona virus.
