Promoting participation and cooperation among all to provide support and assistance to needy families with the advent of the blessed month of Ramadan. The priority of the themes for the meeting of the Governor of Damascus, Eng. Adel Al-Olabi, with civil and charitable societies and the owners of humanitarian initiatives.

During the meeting held today at the Cultural Center in Kafr Sousa, a number of heads and representatives of associations presented the vision of each association, its capabilities, the difficulties facing its work and the services it provides, as Engineer Al-Olabi confirmed the governorate's readiness to provide all forms of support and facilities for the work of associations in the delivery of aid to the beneficiaries.

Al-Olabi pointed out that the city of Damascus was divided into five sectors, where a member of an executive office supervises each sector and their mission is to communicate and cooperate with the associations to facilitate their work, stressing the importance of the delivery of aid in a decent manner while creating a database on which the associations rely to achieve justice in distribution.

For their part, heads and representatives of associations expressed their readiness to make and double efforts to deliver support to those in need and provide food aid such as "meals and initiatives for cooking and distribution of clothes" and others, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

The meeting was attended by members of the executive office and managers in the province.
