The battle was hard, and the victory is all the more beautiful.
Better still: these brands, however fragile, have held up to the point of achieving a turnover that has kept them afloat.
It was necessary to celebrate this victory, not only of the booksellers, but also of the readers who were present en masse, as if the purchase of a novel, an essay or a comic book constituted an act of resistance.
