Among them, the 43-year-old male deceased suffered from hyperlipidemia and obesity. He suffered a cardiac arrest at home and was certified dead that night after being sent to the hospital. The 66-year-old woman was found unconscious in bed, and the ambulance was confirmed dead after the arrival of the ambulance.
The Department of Health said that there is no clinical evidence that the cause of death was caused by the vaccine, and the case will be referred to the new crown vaccine clinical event evaluation expert committee for causality assessment.

Dead middle-aged man suffering from hyperlipidemia and obesity
According to information from the Hospital Authority, the deceased was a 43-year-old man who suffered from hyperlipidemia and obesity. He received a dose of Fubitai Covid-19 vaccine at the Community Vaccination Center of Tsuen King Circuit Sports Centre on April 18. After staying in the center for observation, there was no record of discomfort during the period.
Four days later, the man suffered a cardiac arrest at home yesterday (22nd). When he arrived at the Accident and Emergency Department of Renji Hospital, there was no sign of life. The rescue failed and died the same night.
The Department of Health stated that there is no clinical evidence to show that the cause of death was caused by the vaccine. The Hospital Authority has reported the case to the Coroner.
60-year-old woman fell dead at home
In addition, the Department of Health received a coroner case involving a 66-year-old woman.
She received the second dose of Fubital vaccine at the Community Vaccination Center of Sai Wanhe Stadium on April 12.
Ten days later, she was found unconscious in the bed yesterday (22nd) morning. After the ambulance arrived, she was confirmed dead and her body was transferred to the public mortuary.
According to the Department of Health, the two cases will be referred to an expert committee for causality assessment in accordance with the established mechanism.
