(CNN) -

There are few sensations as liberating as swimming outdoors under blue skies that stretch to the horizon.

Now in Dubai you can do it at almost 300 meters above sea level.

The pool at the recently opened Address Beach Resort, which was named the tallest in-building infinity pool in the world in March, stands at a dizzying height of 293,906 meters.

That's roughly nine-tenths the height of the Eiffel Tower.

Oh la la.

It's not a kiddy pool either: at 94.84 meters long and 16.5 meters wide, this infinity pool is almost twice as long as an Olympic-size pool.

Though guests may want to relax in their Paris 2024 training and simply enjoy the panoramic views of Ain Dubai's new Ferris wheel - the tallest in the world - and the white sands of Jumeirah Beach.

The pool is only open to hotel guests 21 years of age and older.

However, you can enjoy the views without changing your bathing suit by reserving a table at the adjacent rooftop restaurant, Zeta Seventy Seven.

This Asian fusion restaurant is so named because, like the infinity pool, it is located on the 77th floor of the hotel.

The pool is part of the Address Beach Resort at Jumeirah Gate, a striking new building that opened on Dubai's waterfront in December.

Beyond the infinity pool: the resort's other Guinness record

As impressive as it is, it is not even the resort's only Guinness World Record.

The breathtaking views aren't limited to the higher floors, either.

The Address Beach Resort, along with the Address Beach Residences, is located in a set of two towers connected at their base and by an elevated bridge from the 63rd to 77th floor.

The elevated bridge, which houses luxury apartments, is, at 294.36 meters, the floor of the world's tallest open-space bridge.

This beachfront property, known as the Jumeirah Gate, opened in December 2020 and is another eye-catching architectural addition to the already bustling Jumeirah skyline.

After all, it often seems that a tourist attraction in the emirate does not dare to open its doors without having at least one record.

Federico Rota, Deputy CEO of Al Ain Holding, said: “True to our commitment to developing iconic projects, we are proud to break two Guinness records with the Address Beach Resort.

With modern construction and innovative services, this complex has set new standards in luxury lifestyle and hospitality.

Another record-breaking pool will open in May: London's new Sky Pool, located next to the US Embassy on the south bank of the River Thames.

The Sky Pool is a 25-meter transparent pool that spans between the 10 floors of two residential skyscrapers.

It is the largest freestanding acrylic pool structure in the world.

However, it is a bit more difficult to get into than the pool at the Address Beach Resort: you have to be a resident of the $ 1.4 million apartments.
