The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population announced the registration of 1138 new infections and 59 deaths from the Coronavirus during the past 24 hours.
The spokesman for the ministry, Dr. Khaled Mujahid, said in a statement that the total number of Coronavirus infections in the country has reached 237,410 cases, and the total deaths reached 13,904 cases.
Mujahid indicated that 400 people recovered from infection with the Coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals, bringing the total of those recovering to 176,763 people until today.
