Wednesday's full moon was special, especially if you live in certain parts of the world and were able to see the total lunar eclipse, the first since January 2019. During the eclipse, the moon turned reddish due to the sunlight that filtered through the Earth's atmosphere. It could be seen in parts of North and South America in the early hours of the morning, while in East Asia and Australia it could be seen at night. This phenomenon is often called a "blood moon." | PHOTOS | This was the spectacle of the lunar eclipse and the supermoon | CNN
