Russian President Vladimir Putin again rejected the idea of making vaccination against Coronavirus mandatory.
"There are multiple opinions about the necessity of vaccinating workers in certain fields, as well as vaccinating all Russian citizens without exception, but in my opinion, making vaccination mandatory is an impractical and impossible procedure," Putin said today, during a meeting to discuss a number of economic issues in the city of Sochi.
Putin stressed the need to achieve collective immunity as people must realize for themselves the need for vaccination and “understand that if they are not vaccinated they may face a serious risk that may be fatal.”
