Long
lines of cars and a significant delay
in traffic on the second business day of the new restrictions imposed by the increase in cases of coronavirus.
These delays are registered in the La Noria and Pueyrredón bridges, in both directions.
And complications are added in the 9 de Julio direction to the south.
They are
due to the controls
to verify that those who transit have their corresponding circulation permit for being essential workers or for some reason of force majeure, according to the restrictions of the nine days of confinement.
Traffic is also slow on the
Perito Moreno highway
, in the Parque Avellaneda area.
Motorists report that it took up to five minutes to move a single block on
Lugones Avenue
.
And there are also delays on the
Riccheri highway
, in the toll zone.
Since this morning, the members of the different security forces began the controls at the entrances below General Paz Avenue, and at the other crossings between the province of Buenos Aires and the City of Buenos Aires.
From 7 o'clock long lines of vehicles began to be seen at the entrance to the Buenos Aires district from the southern area, through the Pueyrredón bridge;
from the west in the descent of Liniers;
and from the north, where there were delays on the Pan-American highway.
Traffic congestion could also be observed on the border between the City and the province of Buenos Aires in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Liniers, in the Sarmiento Park area;
and in the one of the forests of Palermo.
Some 71 points of entry to the City of Buenos Aires out of the total of 127 remain closed, and there are 56 enabled crossings within the framework of the restrictions that will continue until next Sunday.
