A man was neutralized this Thursday evening in Meudon (Hauts-de-Seine) by the police of the Boulogne anti-crime squad while he was rushing at them armed with a knife.
At around 7:10 p.m., officials intervened at the request of passers-by who had been threatened by this disturbing character.
The suspect then attacked them with a knife in his hand.
The police opened fire on him three times.
The emergency services quickly intervened to take care of him and take him to the hospital.
“For the time being, he has not died and none of our colleagues have been injured,” a police union representative told us.
In the immediate future, no lead is privileged. The Nanterre prosecutor's office still believes "that there is no evidence to allow a terrorist hypothesis to be considered at this stage".
