Many places have begun to try to train e-sports players from an early age in a similar way to training sports players.

The research team also used questionnaires to interview 2,100 middle school and university students to understand their participation.

The results show that only about 100 of them have participated in e-sports events, accounting for only about 5%.

Participants believe that sense of accomplishment, performance of themselves, lack of e-sports resources, and poor development of e-sports in Hong Kong are the main factors that affect whether they participate in e-sports.
