In a concentrated action, the Langenbacher skate park has now been revamped.

The renovation cost the community quite a bit.

Langenbach

- That went really quickly: The renovation of the skater facility on the Langenbach tennis court was completed within a few days. The ramps and the large area reminiscent of a halfpipe were clearly showing their age and made a pathetic sight. Not to mention that some of the devices were almost unusable at all. Not only was the paint peeled off, but there were also holes in the panels. Only the metal frame was left of one or two ramps. Now this has been remedied in no time.

At the latest meeting of the municipal council, Mayor Susanne Hoyer said that although the work had started, it could take some time, due to the weather, before the renovation of the skater facility, which cost almost 18,000 euros, could be completed in full.

A good week later, the small skate park with its various platforms, rails and ramps was brought back to a reasonable level.

Much to the delight of the local skater scene, which was already in the starting blocks while the work was still going on.

Special company commissioned

It was not the first renovation of the facility: In 2015 they had already worked hard to bring everything back up to date.

Back then, the great Ingo Foehre was in charge of the redesign.

Now the community had placed the order with a specialist company from Fürstenfeldbruck.

In any case, the hard-working Lies from Gedo Skateparks did a great job.

The team moved in with five men and after a brief visit to the construction site with Hoyer, they really pummeled over three days.

The compressor for the circular saws and the screwdrivers ran toujours at full speed.

For example, the platform bank has been completely renewed and the ramps have been renovated in turn.

Not to forget the funbox, which is particularly popular with users.

So the skater season can begin.
